Registered Childminders in Crown, Inverness

My name is Tina Strain, owner of "Tintin's Early Learning & Childcare" we are registered with the Care Inspectorate for over 25 years.

I have no doubt that the experiences that I have had bringing up three children of my own and working with hundreds of children over the past years has helped me become a very well established and experienced child care provider.

We as a team, as of January 2024 have become a "Curiosity Approach" Accredited setting.

I work along side two full time assistants and a part-timer, my sister Marion Irvine, she has been working in the setting since 2018, before this she worked in the third sector as a job coach working with young adults with learning difficulties. She has two small boys of her own.

Abbie Lee Turner has a HNC in Early childcare & development and has been with us since 2019.

There is  a part-time assistant who works six hours each day.

We all have PVG's, child protection, pediatric first aid, food & hygiene, sleep safe and many more. These are refreshed every few years. 

We are a real living wage employer.
